Well… almost paid off.

I called up e-loan to make sure they still had the correct address on file for me, to mail me my title.

Turns out, for some stupid, idiotic reason, they turned off the automatic EFT payment withdrawal from my account. Normally each month the payment is automatically withdrawn, but for the last payment of the loan, they don’t do it. Why? How fucking retarded.

If I hadn’t called them to make sure all this was ok, they wouldn’t have gotten the last payment cause they couldn’t mail me asking me for it, and then i would have gotten late fees and all kinds of shit until i finally noticed that it wasn’t automatically withdrawn. What the fuck? How is this a company?

The guy told me this and I was like, incredulously, “Well its a damn good thing I called you people then isn’t it” and He LAUGHS and is like “yeah it is, it’d have been all messed up if you didn’t!”

So now I just have to go on to their website and make an account and pay the last payment manually, not that big of a deal, but jesus, get your shit together people.
